where do you get your ingredients from?

Usually in Russian pharmacy/health food store. I like this company among many others: http://altaifarm.ru/catalog/
I get green and white teas in a local Chinese pharmacy, they have a big tea collection there. You can find the same teas in fancy stores much more expensive.
I usually don't get a lot, so whole collection of herbs and roots can be under $30. I saw some local Chinatown tiny pharmacies that hold wonderful collections of herbs, but bring your Chinese speaking friend along (unless you are lucky to meet a Gagarin fan who speaks Russian :)).
My favorite black tea is long leaf Ceylon tea from India. There is no way to convince me that any other kind can be even compared to it.
